Te Anga Toi

Ngā mahi toi is a collection of artwork from year twelve and thirteen Māori students from Rutherford High School, Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Kotuku and Liston College, celebrating whakapapa, turangawaewae, pepeha and life through a Māori lens.  

Students in Mahi a Toi classes researched their whānau, whakapapa and connections to ancestral homelands over ten weeks, designing distinctive Māori imagery to communicate who they are, where they come from and where they see themselves growing as Māori in an everchanging world.
